Happy Friday guys!! This weekend I'm channeling my inner Bohemian. I've been blessed with a beautiful group of creatively, amazing friends, so this post is mostly inspired by them. We all have crazy busy lives so getting together usually requires a solid month of planning. So I try to make the most of those moments when we have them.
My Festive Friday theme is girls day out with a luxe boho feel. Don't be afraid to mix rich textures with exotic patterns,it helps to balance your eclectic style with modern accents.

*Disclaimer; I'm a sucker for sexy lighting! Nothing keeps me at restaurant, party or venue longer than mood lighting. Every woman looks gorge in it and your atmosphere is instantly elevated by it. There are hundreds of ways you can incorporate lighting without having to drag extension cords across your lawn. I personally love candles, lanterns and battery operated lights. Combine those with your existing outdoor lighting you should be good to go.

Pommes frites and other grub! Second only to good atmosphere is good food, nothing clears a room quicker than a lack of variety. Consider your theme, guests taste and how informal or formal your party is. When choosing alcohol, a signature drink like a sangria is a cost effective way of serving the hard stuff without stocking an entire mini bar. Also consider having your guests bring a bottle of their favorite wine to add to the drink menu.
~Putting a little love into the details does not require you killing yourself or really being that creatively inclined.
Remember to keep your "Theme" in mind when you pick out your; Decorations, color story, food and evites the rest will fall into place pretty organically.~

Finally since its always Fashion Friday in my mind, last but not least don't forget your look. When you're hosting you always want to look good without tying too hard. A long maxi with a mens button up is a easy go to for me. Its takes minimal effort to put together and its dressy/casual feel keeps it from being too stuffy and forced.
When its all pulled together and everything is set out you can sit back and enjoy good food, good drinks and great friends ! La Vive Boheme!
