Boa Tarde!! Its almost Friday kittens and cats so I thought I'd get a jump on my weekend projects. Growing up I was always the kid who loved a craft. Whenever diorama's, light bulbs or paint were involved I was in seventh heaven! So I'm always looking for a cute DIY project to keep on my "To do" list. I collected a few of the projects Im thinking of playing around with, i'll walk you through which ones actually made the cut next week. www.hgtv/handmade/add-a-recessed-planter-to-an-outdoor-table/index.html Looking through the steps for the table will help you determine how comfortable you are with your handy woman skills , this one does involve some slight labor! Or you could always offer your neighbor dinner on you, if he'd be willing to cut it for you. I've seen a lot of pictures reconstructing Ball jars.I definitely love this one, its cute and functional! Also this one requires minimal hardware! I definitely know this one will make the cut, I have a vintage dresser I've been looking to paint and this is most definitely an inspiration piece. Take one glance around my home and you will notice a theme… Signs, I have an unmitigated obsession with vintage signboards, the more ancient the better. I'm sure I can find a way to bring this headboard to life. I'm still looking for the right fit for these doors I found last weekend. They were salvaged from a movie set in Atlanta and have amazing potential . I came across a few ideas but I need something that will work for both doors! Most projects only require one door, have any ideas? Feel free to shoot them to me at :

For the red door you could give it a light paint...chip it up, put a vintage knob on the handle, maybe Victorian glass style? Then you could attach all types of brackets and space them out and it could be a "jewelry station" for you since I know you have a killer collection! You could attach a bar at the bottom and hang some scarves across it. Just a thought?
